Q. I've run into a problem implementing your course, although overall it has been a BIG help. My problem is efficiently mailing and faxing out the added value information pieces to customers, prospects, and colleagues on a daily basis. Once you get a few leads and colleagues, the logistics of manually mailing all these pieces quickly becomes VERY problematic. It appears that you at Nexus have admin staff to automate most of the LOs mailing and faxes, and all they have to do is call to follow up. What can I do if my company does not hire people to do this? The consistent mailers/faxes are the core part of the marketing program and much suffers if I cannot solve this problem. ACT software alone, while helpful in many ways, does not appear to automate this process. Am I wrong? What can I do? Tell me your thoughts...

Q. At my office we are only just now getting to the point of purchasing contact mgmt software for everyone to use. We are probably going to get ACT for the base system. But I wanted your opinion on the best add-on to make ACT mortgage specific. The big ones seem to be Mortgage Quest or Loantoolbox. Which one do you add to ACT to make it mortgage specific?

Q. I just downloaded a demo version of ACT! 6.0 (30 day trial available free from the ACT website) and I've been wondering about the field setup Nexus is using. For example, I have customers with multiple properties and I'm not sure where to put the information. Multiple entries for the same customer or perhaps under sales opportunities? Would you be willing to post screenshots of the Nexus ACT! screens?

Q. I am new to your service and thought it would be helpful, based on my experience, to share some information regarding the question about what Contact Management solution works well for the Mortgage Banking industry.

I have beta tested and implemented CONTACT! by Sue Woodard at www.suewoodardonline.com which is a mortgage specific graphical user interface utilizing ACT! as the base functionality, with predefined templates and activity series it's a turnkey system right out of the box! This system also utilizes a technology called VSync which will eliminate double data entry by syncing directly with Calyx!!!

It runs about $395 per CPU if you already own ACT!, if not, I think it's $695 for the whole thing...Barry Habib, Tim Braheem and Greg Frost all endorse the product. I have met with Sue personally and I can tell you she is committed to offering a true value added turnkey solution - she has a great staff with fabulous customer support too!

Just my humble opinion.
